Bridge of Sunflowers in Lviv

We held an opening event on March 16th for the Lviv part of the Bridge of Sunflowers exhibition. This exhibition, in collaboration with UK charity Never Such Innocence and Manchester Central Library occupied the lobby and stairway of the Lviv Regional Youth Library in the centre of Lviv for almost a month.

Children in Lviv were invited to paint for the Never Such Innocence art competition on the theme of "In Someone Else's Shoes". And these paitings then travelled to both Edinburgh and to Manchester, where four local schools visited the exhibition and created their own art and poetry to send back the Lviv children.
