Day of Mourning for Murdered Ukrainian POWs - Olenivka Exhibition

Our friends Nataliia and Yustyna have curated and presented an exhibition of their children's art at the Territory of Terror Museum in Lviv. The exhibition commemorated the mass murder of Ukrainian POWs at Olenivka prison camp on 28th July 2022. 50+ POWs were locked in a building by their captors and the building exploded, burning many to death. Survivor of Azozstahl steelworks in 2022 and 2.5 years in a POW camp, including Olenivka, Oleksandr Shandro opened the exhibition, and the exhibition features his son, Kostya, who painted many paintings for the exhibition, including this one of his father "callsign "Oskar" (right) and Vladyslav "Easter" Volkov, a comrade from Azozstahl, one of the murdered POWs.
