Community Reflections

Throughout our journey in creating this valuable awareness about the war in Ukraine, we have been in touch with so many inspirational people whom have attended our global events and who continue to support this effort to support the Children. From Ukraine to the USA to the UK and Europe, we have spoken to attendees, politicians and the community to raise awareness and in return there are many persons who wish to write themselves about the war and its effects.

This Community reflections page is a tribute to these persons, and a voice for thier wishes and hopes. Its a positive way to express the hidden traumas this war is creating for the future. We are very thankful to those people who have shared below, thier feelings through short stories and poems. Feel free to contact the team with any feedback or stories you may have following a visit to one of the exhibitions.

A Ray of Hope

A Ray of Hope
Sonia views the morning sun
As it rises from due East
Why has this war begun
Will she ever find some peace?
She painted this picture of love and hope
Towards the end of her teenage years,
Trying to remain so brave, hiding all her fears,
For she knows that time will never stop,
And her country may shed more tears,
She doesn't want to grow up too fast!
She wants to hear victorious cheers.
